Admark Productions
This is a medium-sized business that does promotion videos for a large number of different companies. This company does the sort of business that I am interested in.
Admark Productions
Kevin Melton is a Video Producer at Admark. His role in Admark is a Video Producer. I think this is a great role to be a part of beacuse you are able to work with everyone not only to create a film but to be aprt of the on set production too. This is what would love to do working in pre-production then working on the set during pre-production too. This si why i am going tot try and get in tough with him to do some work experience via LinkedIn as well as through his website that is linked above. He also has the ability to use Adobe After Affects which is a skill that I not only interested in I enjoy using it for the films and promotion video I make.

Promotion Poster
This post was created by Elliot and Sam, by collaborating together on this they made a great product. I also suggested that there should be a QR code on the poster because it makes the poster more simple and less confusing. These sorts of designs will be able to help me in the future for example if I post this on my Instagram or on a billboard people can easily use their phones to look at further details rather than looking at a poster for a while.

This wide shot of the middle of the campus shows all the stalls and games that were at the event. I was the camera operator for the ariel shots. This was such a key angle to get for the event because it is hard to see all that is going on from the ground, however, the main reason is that it looks amazing and very cinematic.
This site has some great examples of the ways to do personal branding.
This key point is "Create less content. (It'll be fine! I promise!)

Motorola Walkie-Talkie
These radios are a key part of the production of the promotion video. Due to the size of the event, it will be an imperative piece of equipment to have for all the crew during the evening. Even more so for the camera operators. It will especially important for me to have a Radio because I will be operating a drone during the event, which is a major safety issue for everyone attending, however I'm sure that nothing will happen thanks to all of its safety features and my expert flying skills.
Renting DJI Inspire (Equipment)
Pro's
It will be cheaper to rent the drone because for a new one it is £6000. I have looked at this website that rents the Drone at a minimum weekly. This is a great way for me to save money for future projects. For me filming on a professional level making short films I would use this. (https://www.heliguy.com/products/rental-dji-inspire-2)
Con's
It can be hard to get a good pilot to assist me whilst filming. I have a license for flying drones however during production I will be focusing on the actors and the cameras.
Hiring Sound Engineers (People)
Pro's
It will help me focus on getting great shots rather than thinking about the second most important thing which is sound even more so with a promotion video because I will be dealing with paying clients. (https://www.soundsolutionconsultants.co.uk/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIroaepIu28wIVdWHmCh3RewC4EAAYAiAAEgIetPD_BwE)
Con's
It can be expensive if I go professional will have to do if I am doing professional adverts by getting people to use a mixer then for example a boom operator it will be even more costs.
Renting Batteries (Disposables)
Pro's
This will be cost-effective over time because batteries that have been rented by a company will often replace the batteries due to them aging over time. This will save me money because it will mean I get optimal battery life during my shoots rather than spending hundreds on new ones. (https://www.wexphotovideo.com)
Con's
It can end up cost more if I do a film every week for example because batteries are rented by the day and it can get costly for certain batteries.
Lighting Videos
This video shows how lighting makes a huge difference in a film. So by using the different angles of the light to highlight certain parts of the object or person that I am filming. There is another light that can be put on the camera. It is a round light that shows in the eyes of a person but is a circle that looks better rather than a square. In one section of the film, he puts in graphics next to the different equipment to show what it is and how to correctly use it. He explains that when setting up lights you can position them into certain positions so when it is on a face it not only highlights it the light can be shown on the eyes as well. When filming there are many ways to get different light zooms on the eyes.
Promo Camera Techniques
This video shows different ways to shoot a promotion video. Also, another key feature was the green screen on a computer and how the light from the computer was reflecting on the actors face so they had to change it by making it a pure white screen and editing it that way. He also speaks about how the use of a green screen is so good, as in the example of the computer that lets of light that illuminated her face so it did not look that good. So he decided to cover the screen of the laptop so there is no brightness displaying onto her face. This video shows good ways to shoot, and how to use the different equipment and how to use it. Although the type of video is not like the direction of our Dartford Lions advert is going in, I still find it very useful. Due to the methods of lighting, and by using shades it stops certain light from getting in which is great to stop the harsh light of the fire and flashing lights from the bright park rides. Also, the clever use of the green screen is great because in the edit we may not even want the plain white background so closer to the time we may even get a green screen just in case we decide white is not the best backdrop.

This test is called, General Measure of Enterprising Tendency. It evaluates the potential of my enterprise ambitions. It's a yes to no test with various statements that may relate to me or my thoughts on certain things. I am pleased with the score I got on the test, I was given a percentage out of 100, and I got 91%. This is an excellent score and tells me that I have a high potential of becoming a freelancer and continuing my own enterprise.
