For the past couple of weeks my work has been pretty much the same. During these few weeks I was also working on my portfolio. From week 8-9 we have been finalising our planning and equipment for the Dartford Fireworks. Me and Elliot have been sorting through all of the needed equipment for the event. Such as sorting though the endless amount of SD cards and batteries for the Canon 750D's. We did have a bit of an issue, with the Canon 7D because it was Davids camera for a start. He had only one recording card for the camera so that was an issue for us because when filing anything can go wrong such as a memory card corrupting and a replacement needed, however this was our only one, thankfully it dint break. Also it is a whole new camera to me and Elliot so it took a bit of time to get used to all the manual controls for filming. Doing all this practise on the 7D was great for me in the future because a lot of higher end filing cameras which I haven't worked with yet do have similar controls, so when I use them I will have a bit more knowledge going straight into them. After sorting out the basic equipment we moved onto he accessories such as tripods, lights and microphone setups. Once we got all of the equipment together our class took a trip to Dartford town centre to look at some equipment boxes in B&Q. We did find some a perfect box for us. However later on Jessie and Grahame got another one for us that was not as good but still didi the job. Finally the last week of this evaluation it was the the two days of the Dartford Fireworks event. So much went on during the whole event and my summary is win the Dartfrod Fireworks page.
